Visiting the labyrinth...

Two years ago, the Anglican church that Marion and Vicky go to, had a labyrinth built on their grounds, with the same size and design as that of Chartres Cathedral. A while later they made an indoor labyrinth in the Church Hall, for use in wintertime.
I've always been fascinated by labyrinths, and wanted to see it. So did my friends. So on Friday around 1 p.m., we went to this old church in March township - well, actually, Kanata - to see the labyrinths.
My photos:
- The outdoor labyrinth:
- Marion showing the fountain in the garden to Beulah:
- The indoor labyrinth:
The circular primeter was made with dinner plates; parishioners wrote blessings and comments under the paint. - My friends walking the path:
- The benches on the perimeter:
- The design perimeter:
I thought it looked like people holding hands.maaseru thought it looked like towers.
- After walking the labyrinth, a trio of tired pilgrims sat on the benches while Beulah and I walked the pattern again, back to the entrance:
More pictures of the church and comments on the labyrinth are on my website.
