Encounter
Dark shallow eyes that revealed nothing; a come-hither sneer; an arse to die for and hands that worked miracles. Jack hadn't forgotten.
Seeing Captain John again twisted something in Jack's heart. Like always. Maybe this time he could trust John. Maybe this time they wouldn't destroy each other.
Or maybe they would.
They always had. They'd been explosive together: dysfunctional, desperate, dangerous. Which made this exciting, made this irresistible...
Damn him. John was a walking disaster.
He was also temptation in human form.
"Come here," said John.
Only a madman would take what he offered.
Jack moved into the kiss.
