First Day of Work

On Ianto's first day at work he burned the coffee, forgot his access codes, spilled purple ink over Owen's keyboard, and scattered a colony of tiny flying aliens Jack was rerouting to their home planet. Luckily, he was able to regroup them all, letting them believe this was another excursion offered by the Welsh Tourist Office.

On the plus side, Lisa was safe, hidden, and alive.

On the minus side, whenever Captain Jack Harkness looked at him with that slight smile, he got hot and flustered and aroused, and how's an employee to work properly under those conditions?

Bloody Torchwood.

Delighted that you enjoyed it... No, I don't think anyone has an easy first day on the job. Jack had it first - on his first day at Torchwood, he was tortured. The others didn't have it that bad... or at least, not deliberately.

I sometimes wonder how it is that Ianto manages to accomplish anything. I would be distracted to distraction.
