No difference. Life's not easy for anyone. It doesn't matter whether we are male or female; we're here to help each other through, regardless of gender.

I agree. I don't think it is possible to generalize that one or other gender has it easier or more difficult than the other. Different difficulties for everyone.

My general impression is that most people thing the other gender has it easy compared to them. In truth, there are some ways men have it easier, and other ways women have it easier, and individual variation, too. I suppose transgendered and bigendered people think the rest of us have it easier than they do, and they're probably right.

How about this for a rephrasing and an answer: Who has it easier? Men and women, yes. The people who have it hardest might be those who are not seen by society as clearly in this either/or dichotomy: the intersexed, the trans people. Just a thought. Doing my part to gently derail linear thinking, I am....

I said something very much the same in one of my comments. But there are so many things which can befall any human being; I'm not sure that it's even true to say, "transgendered people have it harder than the rest of the world". I think I'd be willing to say (as a rash and wild statement) that "people who live in a war zone have it harder than the rest of us". Or "people with chronic illnesses have it harder". Or "people born in slavery have a hard time of it". War and disease (not to mention death and famine) strike us regardless of our sex or age. It isn't gender-discriminatory.

The human identity is pretty wide.

And it is my solid opinion that people who don't know how to think for themselves have it harder than I do.

Yes, the human identity is wide.
