The medical and the difficult...

While doing weights and aerobics this morning I watched the first Torchwood episode, "Everything Changes", once more. Enjoyed it even more on second viewping. It made me want to linger over the exercises, do a few more repetitions... so I did.
Then I went to the doctor, for the scheduled bookd pressure discussion. I've been recording my blood pressure weekly; the average has been 145/90 - a genetic thing, says my doctor, and no point working with exercise and diet because I am already exercising and eating well. So: I am now officially diagnosed with hypertension, and I'll be taking Altace (ramipril) as well as novo-hydrazide (hydrochlorothiazide) which I was already taking. I have trouble remembering the word hydrochlorothiazide but why should that be, when I have minimal trouble with Rexicoricofallipatorius?
Don't answer that.
At work, I had a task that I felt intimidated by. A note to myself, which I already knew, but already forget: if there is something you are afraid of doing, do it. The act is never as bad as the fear of the act.
