Online is real life. I am astounded how many people don't understand that.

And the answer to the question is: no, of course not. How could I? I am what I am.

I do indulge in more Torchwood talk than in other venues, though. Because I can. Because I enjoy it so much.

I don't understand the distinction either: it's like asking whether you're the same person on the telephone!

Yes. Or it's like thinking you're another person when you read a newspaper or write a letter. Most odd.

Of course you are.

Me too.

Also cleverer and wittier, did I mention that?

Online is real life.

Seriously. I've met most of my friends and my roommate online.

Yes. And there's nothing weird or unusual about that.

SJA Faced Budget Cuts, Nearly Axed

Yay for the interdepartmental rescue...

...Davies makes the Sarah Jane Adventures for CBBC but says budget cuts nearly cancelled his show three times...

The third series of the Sarah Jane Adventures was hit by budget constraints. Davies said: "We had to look and say, do we want to make a version of Sarah Jane that's a travesty?

"It was truly shocking to have a successful show having to face cuts which are that severe" he continued.

The writer pointed out that different BBC departments had pulled together to rustle up the money which the programme needed to continue but that, in general, "children's (TV) is sinking lower and lower down the agenda".

It's so sad to see good TV savaged by budget cuts. I wish they'd stop doing that.

And I'm so glad Sarah Jane is continuing.

Police bring Tardis-style boxes back into use

This is great (http://news.scotsman.com/scotland/Police-bring-Tardisstyle-boxes-back.5074422.jp).

That is so very cool!

I love it that it's gone full circle - first there were police boxes; then there was Doctor Who, where the TARDIS looked like a police box; then there was Doctor Who and the TARDIS but police boxes no longer existed; and now there are going to be police boxes again, with a reference to the TARDIS in the headline so people will know what they're talking about.

I love it.

Never saw a real police box. Didn't even know what they were till I started watching the show.

Interesting! - I like the way they don't all look exactly the same. Thanks for the link.
