Twice Dead

For the second time, Owen examined Suzie's dead body. They'd been lovers, of sorts, though he wondered now if Suzie had ever loved anyone. He suspected she'd loved Jack. A lot of people did.

She'd tried to kill Gwen, his current lover. Jealousy? Desire? Dementia? Owen wasn't sure. Wasn't sure what his part in this was, but he'd held Gwen's dead or dying body in his arms on the pier while he watched Jack put bullet after bullet into Suzie's body. He wished he could weep for her.

Bloody Torchwood. It'd drive a man mad, if he wasn't mad already.
