This is one of those appalling "where can I find a certain fic?" questions. Bo-ring, I know. But I'm not sure where to ask, except my clever f-list.

The story is Shakespearean blank verse, based on Hamlet, only instead of it being the ghost of Hamlet's father who's freaking out Horatio and Bernardo, it's the Doctor and the TARDIS.

Ring any bells?

Later note: found for me by [livejournal.com profile] neadods. It's The Comedie of Hamlet, Prince of Denmark by [livejournal.com profile] reina_isabella.

I am sorry to say I don't know.

But I can direct you to one where Jack gets it on with Edward IV.

Yes please.

Like I'd pass that up.

In anticipation....

The first part is here (http://community.livejournal.com/dw_historical/3248.html), and the other two parts haven't been posted yet (the third part is in progress). Now that I think of it, Jack and Edward don't actually get it on until part two, but there is Subtext. And the fic is awesome. It has robots in it.

The one where Horatio is talking about seeing a blue box in the prologue? [livejournal.com profile] reina_isabella's The Comedie of Hamlet, Prince of Denmark (http://reina-isabella.livejournal.com/5555.html).

While I'm at it, other fun from the Shakespeare tag:
Hamlet, Facebook Style (http://www.angelfire.com/art2/antwerplettuce/hamlet.html)

Yes! Yes, that's it! Thank you so much, you clever person. [livejournal.com profile] reina_isabella, I should have remembered her name, but I didn't.

Greatly appreciated - and the other links, too!

Those are wonderful! I particularly loved "Polonius is no longer online".

And... Dalek prima donnas doing my favourite scene from Much Ado. Christopher Eccleston! Yes!

Thanks so much.
