Past and Present

Jack and John found a nook in an alley where, for the moment, they were safe from the alien predator. "I'm transmitting the biofacts to Tosh at the Agency," said John, tapping info into his wristband. "She'll be able to - why are you looking at me like that?"

"It's Torchwood. Tosh isn't with the Agency."

"Jeez. At least I got brainchick's name right. Hey, it was just a slip of the tongue. Not my fault if my mind goes to mush when I'm around you."

"Wake up. You're living in the past."

"It's all I have," said John, soberly.
