Torchwood: the trailer revisited...

Today maaboroshi showed me that they have the Torchwood series 3 trailer up on the SPACE website.

Cool.

Looking at it again, I could only think how much I love a show that gives us, in the trailer, a female hero with a gun in each hand, and a hero kissing his boyfriend.

Several people have told me they showed an interview with John Barrowman on The Circuit the other day, but I missed it.

It refused to show the trailer in the US, but was perfectly happy to show the advertisement beforehand for the Canadian Women's Olympic hockey team.

Gad, I hate that! It happens all the time. I see American or British online ads for things that are inaccessible to me even if I wanted them, and then can't see the item in question. Faugh!

I just don't understand why they won't let us see the trailer -- it makes no sense to me. Why would they even *care* if someone from the US, or even Zimbabwe or Bolivia, sees their damned trailer? What is with the whole exclusivity thing? I get that they want to "control" their product, but what does this sort of control gain them?
