Backing up files...

Last night I spent hours backing up files on my computer. I'm taking my computer in to the shop for an upgrade today. The time has come. A problem with my USB port has made me escalate my inent from "get it fixed" to "while it's in the shop, I could get a few other things done...."

Amazing how long it took to back things up - I kept telling myself that if I did this more often it wouldn't be so difficult to keep up with it. I'm sure all you people out there are sensible and organized enough to back up your files on a regular basis. I'm not.

Heck, I'm so disorganized I found e-mail I'd meant to answer six months ago. Apologies and hugs to everyone who's been waiting six months for a reply to something, okay?

I don't backup files often enough either. Usually only the really important stuff - like my writings. Sometimes links. All the school stuff can go - hey, that way, I have an excuse for not having it done, right? :D

I hope your computer doesn't have to stay in the shop for too long. I know I'd feel strangely disconnected from everything without mine. :) But at least you have TTT to keep you company. Oooh I'm soooo excited!

Yes! I just bought the TTT DVD ten minutes ago. It's beautiful. Can hardly wait to watch. Happy happy happy.

Yes, I always back up my stories first. And still sometimes manage to lose them! The second thing I always back up are my pictures.
