Company Man

When he worked for Torchwood One, Ianto became, of necessity, a company man.

Yvonne ran a tight ship with an iron hand in a velvet glove, and despite some lip-service, left no room for idiosyncrasy. So Lisa dressed in smart suits and Ianto always wore a tie. Not the Tintin tie, either. He saved that for special occasions.

Then the Cybermen came. Ianto wore jeans, afterwards. T-shirts. Hoodies. Anything but suits.

When it turned out that Captain Jack Harkness liked suits, especially on Ianto, Ianto dug one out of his closet. He could do this.

Ianto was a company man.
