My suggestion is to check out some torchwood coms with good tagging habits, and see if they have tags for such things. I have seen about a bajillion, but as I am using phone net, I can't search for things very well. :)
Yes, I'll continue my search. I know I've seen a bajillion of them too, but now I'm looking for them, they seem scarce. I do love browsing icons. Thanks!
I've found something very close. I wanted a headshot of Jack, Gwen, and Ianto from the end, where Jack has his arms around both of them. I wanted it fairly dark and moody. Found a good one, the pose I want, but not quite as moody as I wanted, so it's worth continuing the search. Or am I just indulging in my icon-hunting fetish?
Icon hunting is an addiction. I swear. I went on a james masters hunt not too long ago and found so much pretty it wasn't even funny. Now I don't know which to use.
I have some over here: http://rabecka.livejournal.com/1643.html
If there's something you want in particular, just ask. I'm always happy to make icons for writers. Especially ones I like :-)
One of these days, I'm going to do a lot more icons for Exit Wounds, but when I did these, I didn't have the DVDs yet. I prefer to do my own screen shots - so many of the interior shots are dark, that I need to create my own for the best results.
Yes, thank you for the link and the reminder! I will return there for more. I was looking for icons of Jack, Ianto and Gwen together, and more with Captain John - though I find in general the visuals of John are better in "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang" than in "Exit Wounds", where he's (understandably) more tense and highstrung.
Your methos of icon-making are paying off, because you have a beautiful and distinctive look.
And thanks so much for the kind words about my writing.

Now I don't know which to use.
Yes, but isn't it fun having all those choices?
