masseru and I want to visit Vicky and Marion, and we had a lovely turkey dinner - our first and only one of the season. What a treat! Then we watched Wall-E. Enjoyed it greatly; I was very impressed with its storytelling sophistication and the way it communicated so much with so few words.

My computer has gone to the shop for repairs. Hoping for the best.

Some people speculate the comuter's fan broke down. Some think it's the power supply. Whatever happened - my computer died spewctacularly in a split second. And I'm not having a lot of luck with the borrowed substitute. Cross your fingers for me!

How is your computer doing now? Mine's better than ever, thank goodness. No data lost. Breath of relief. (And a new resolve to put more of my old fic online before it gets lost again!)
