I hate to say this, but the bus strike on Wednesday now seems a dead cert (http://www.cbc.ca/canada/ottawa/story/2008/12/08/ot-transit-081208.html).

The last time a strike happened was in late 1996 ... and it took six weeks to settle it.

I hope you like walking on black ice on occasion. :-(
