Bloody Mary

She was all that Tosh had longed for: a woman from a distant world, with the rebellious spirit Tosh had always wished she had. A woman on whom telepathy sat as easily as freedom. For her, sex was nothing but a romp. She was spontaneous, inventive, free-spirited and vibrant.

Toshiko had always wanted to be free, but not at the terrifying price of becoming what Mary was.

Outcast. Murdereress. Sociopath. Whore.

"I should hate her," said Toshiko to Jack. "Why can't I?"

He squeezed her hand. "Love finds its own ways. You aren't the first one to love a monster."
