Interrogation

Captain John Hart sulked in a UNIT cell.

The black girl with the pretty smile brought him a bottle of whiskey, but she was after something. Not his body, unfortunately.

"Where Captain Jack Harkness go?"

"You're asking me? Haven't a clue."

"Gwen Cooper said he left Earth."

"Can't follow him, then, darling, can you?"

"I have my resources," she said mysteriously. "He saved my planet. I'm not letting him just walk away in despair. I owe him."

This was personal, then. "You love him?" John shrugged. "Join the club."

"We'll find him," promised Martha gently.

John felt a glimmer of hope.
