After Utopia

Approaching Jack's office, Gwen heard Jack's laugh, deep and open; and Martha's light, throaty chuckle. She couldn't hear individual words, but they must be talking about the Doctor. When she approached, they would stop. They never discussed the Doctor with outsiders; Gwen didn't know why. It was as if people who met the Doctor formed their own secret club, bound by love, loyalty and goodness knows what.

Gwen, who loved both Jack and Martha, felt excluded.

Gwen entered. "What're you doing?" she asked, lightly.

Jack and Martha said in unison, "Blogging!" and burst out laughing.

Gwen didn't get the joke.

Oh, what fun! How Christmassy! Makes me want to sing Christmas carols. And the other Doctor - loved the line, "A what lord?"
