I will too. I liked Eccleston also - more - but Tennant was a pleasure to watch. I haven't liked him as much in his other roles.
Perhaps he can't take the Doctor Who celebrity any more?
I could hardly blame him for wanting to get away from it. To go back to real life, unbothered by the tempests of publicity.
The more I think about Sean Pertwee, the more I think he's a good choice, but I'd better not get any emotional attachment to the idea, since the BBC are not consulting me and will probably - I almost hope - pick someone I never heard of.
