Um... sure. I was thinking of some of the layouts on freelayouts. It looks as if the picture site most people were using for the previews has changed or erased things, so a lot of the previews are not showing now.

I'm currently thinking neutral shades and fonts with serifs... a slightly deeper than usual full width header image with the links centred beneath it and maybe a very faint lineart background image...
