That's still not bad. Darn good, in fact. I didn't do it all off the top of my head, I openly confess. I gave myself time to think about the names in each one, pick the one(s) I thought I remembered or which were most likely, and then looked them up. It was a nice memory-refresher.
Turin and his connections, I tend to remember. And Beren and Luthien, too. But some of the - well, I guess anyone who's obscure to some will be easy for others and vice versa.
I once memorized the names of the Valar very carefully, and their associated attributes and careers. I can no longer list their names but I recognize them. Mostly.
