Doctor Who: Companions...

Ever since the BBC released their publicity photos for the series ending of Doctor Who, I've been running into this one all over my flist.




And even though I know it's a foolish bit of fannishness, I am such a Jack/Doctor slash fan that it totally delights me that Jack is the only one of the Companions in the picture that the Doctor is actually touching.

Whoever made it probably is a fan of Jack/Doctor - it's a photoshop job, not a press release from the Beeb.

You can tell from relative heights, shadows, etc, and because other versions of the photo have other people in it -- for example, the one I have set as my desktop has Jackie behind Mickey.

That and Jack is at crotch level. BTW, I want someone to give me a good, clear closeup of the label hanging from Jack's coat lining. I'm not sure but I suspect that lining is totally not period for the coat. And the fact that it looks like a dry cleaning tag is making me crazy. LOL!

That was the exact same thought I had!! I posted to someone else's LJ when they linked to tis photo that it made me ridiculously happy that the Doc was touching Jack's shoulder!

What period are you thinking of? 20th century? 51st century? 21st century? With Jack it could be any of these, or anything in between.

I'm just happy that it looks so good on him.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who fangirled a bit at that.

I say HA to all the Rose/Doc shippers...she's touching him, I think, but the only one he's willingly touching is Jack.

Do find it interesting that their the two closest to him, since when they travelled together it wasn't even Tennant's doctor...but eh.
