Psychological similarities between Jack and Will, you mean?
I would enjoy a vulnerable Jack, but not too vulnerable, it'd go against why we like him. And I'd rather seem him vulnerable emotionally than physically. I'd like him to yearn for things that he'd deny that he yearrs for, or deny that any pirate ought to yearn for.
