Ten only said "sorry" while Jack lay dead.

Nine would give a shit.

He would. And he would understand.

Nine is so deeply moral; the kind of man who would inspire Jack to be a better man.

And who did, with so many repercussions in Jack's life.

Ten doesn't have that power. He's too light, too scattered.

Ten scolds him for having a gun, and for flirting.... that's about it.

I miss him a lot.
