It always seems odd to me that this episode comes so late in the season - it has the feeling of early season filler in many ways, mainly because it's not really about the core arc.
More Jonathan scenes, for those who take note of these things.
You will, dear, you will.
It's fun seeing Willow as a teacher. And then Snyder tells her to pass Gage even though Gage isn't doing the work, leaving Willow with an ethical dilemma.
Poor Willow. She doesn't mind her friends exploiting her intelligence and knowledge, but it's a bit much when she's required to do it for all and sundry.
I like the way Willow gets into 'interrogation'.
She's cute when she's trying to be scary. Except when she succeeds.
Why do I love these evil-Angel scene so much?
Because Boreanaz's acting is so much better when he has something to dig his teeth into?
And Xander joins the swim team.
Cordelia:
What the hell are you doing here?
Xander:
Shh! I'm undercover.
That makes me laugh: am I finding Xander funnier than he used to be?
Xander in Speedos, looking hot and embarrassed about it. What's not to like? And the reactions of the girls? Priceless.
[I find it hard to believe that it's Cordelia talking!] And... and we can still date. Or, or not. I mean... I understand if you wanna see other fish."
Cordelia takes shallowness to an art form, but she has layers.
Home? Is that the Arctic Ocean?
Sunnydale, like Springfield, has an intriguing range of convenient locations.
Not a particularly special episode, but comic relief perhaps rather needed about this point - the final two episodes have a lot of intensity about them, after all.
