Buffy question...
May. 10th, 2008 10:40 amI am reminded that, at the end of Buffy the Vampire Slayer series 3, I'll have episodes of Angel to watch simultaneously with season 4.
Do I just alternate episodes, to get them in the right order? Which series should I start with? Is there a website that would list chronological order for me?
No, I'm not there yet, but I soon will be. Thinking ahead...

...has "original air date" info on all the episodes! Just be careful not to read spoilers.

Date: 2008-05-10 03:07 pm (UTC)... I was saying which eps it matters for, but then I'm saying which are xovers, which I don't know if you want to know.
Wiki has a list of Angel episodes which says which xover but they also have little descriptions.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Buffy_the_Vampire_Slayer_episodes
... no, actually, I just read that and by season 7/5 then episode B17 is leading into episode A15. So they're not in step there.
And by then the airdates don't match the story developments either. Don't know what that's about. Didn't watch them that way.

Date: 2008-05-10 10:36 pm (UTC)The crossover eps. Those are most important.
For Season 1 Angel, watch Buffy 4x8 (Pangs), then watch Angel 4x8 (I Will Remember You)
Basically, since they aired right after each other on the WB, you can watch S4 Buffy eps each followed by the corresponding S1 Angel ep.
In Angel S2, the crossover ep is 2x7 - "Darla" - be sure to watch Buffy S5x7 "Fool for Love" right before it.
After Buffy season 5, the tie-in gets more difficult, as Buffy moved to UPN, and Angel stayed on the WB. But there ARE tie-ins.
PS the Wikipedia lists of episodes are good for checking which episodes of each show aired on the same days:
Buffy: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Buffy_the_Vampire_Slayer_episodes
Angel: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Angel_episodes
Note - some mild spoilers in episode descriptions, but not much more than if you'd read the TV Guide synopsis of an ep beforehand.

Anyway, I think it's really easy. Just watch a Buffy, then the Angel that aired on the same night. They'll go in twos, first S4 Buffy matches up with the Angel pilot, etc.

Date: 2008-05-11 03:15 am (UTC)Then Buffy moved to a different network, so it's better to check the air dates for Buffy 6 and 7, and Angel 3 and 4. For example, sometimes two (or more) Buffy episodes would air before the next Angel episode.
I'll reply to babydraco separately about the peanut butter incident, for fear of spoilers. :)
