my speculative questions...

There are odds and ends I'd like to play with, or come up with answers to the questions in my head:

- why was Jack kind to Owen in "Dead Man Walking" but not "A Day in the Death"? Had something happened to make Jack grumpy?

- who put the dragon-mural on the wall in the Hub, and why?

- why was Jack in the circus in the 1920s, and who was he working for?

- why didn't Jack want to tell Gwen about the Rift survivors on Flat Holm island? And why did Ianto want her to know?
