Anything between 17°C and 28°C is comfortably warm. Under or around 10°C and I'll be cold, over thirty and I'll be hot. 25°C is perfect. And sunshine. I love the sun.
My notion of perfect would be anything from 3C to 22C - anything else is too hot for comfortable walking. I don't mind a mixture of sun and clouds, with occasional fog - as long as it keeps changing.
I dislike wet, grey weather. Just grey is okay, but not for longer than a day. Sunshine makes me happy by default and as long as I'm warm and curled up somewhere, I can deal with pretty much any kind of weather. I just really can't stand the cold.
This time of year (and for the next month) we tend to get a days of weather that is very, very sunny, and very, very cold - the kind of sunshine that cuts through you with its bright coldness, and I'm talking -30C or more wind chill. It tends to make a person cynical about any equation between "warmth" and "sunshine".
I like windy days, and wind at those temperatures is painful.
I think I'd probably just hide under a blanket all day if the temperatures dropped that low over here. I do, however, like sunshine no matter what the temperature. I just enjoy warmth more.
But sunshine is not necessarily warm - thre is no warmth to the sun at thirty below. And much as I don't like extreme cold, I don't like extreme heat either, and when it's hot, sunshine can be excruciating.
I'f like a world constantly between 5 and 15C! I'm not going to get it - certainly not in Ontario!
I know sunshine doesn't necessarily mean warmth, but I still like sunshine. I might even prefer a sunny, but cold day to a rainy but warm day, but I'm not entirely sure about that. I don't like extreme heat, either, but I can function pretty well at up to 35°C. Though I might whine about it. It's still better than cold, in my opinion.
