Torchwood: Rhys, the prefect boyfriend...

I've been hearing talk about an interview with Kai Owen about Torchwood series 2, but I didn't see it until raissad sent me a link this morning. Thank you, raissad.

I was amused by this paragraph:

One of the series’ major moments is the wedding between Rhys and Gwen, played by Eve Myles, which is gatecrashed by alien invaders.

Now, doesn't that just sound like every comic book wedding you ever read? Fantastic Four, you set the scene! It's classic.

I don't mind if they cut back on the swearing and I'm all for better scripts, but I'm getting a little nervous about reports that there will be more scenes with Rhys, or more scenes with Ianto - not that I don't want both of them to be featured more, but I fear this might mean "less of Captain Jack" which is not what I want at all. I want more of Captain Jack in tandem with certain others - Ianto, Tosh, Rhys - and fewer scenes with Owen and aliens and other minor characters like Eugene.
