I saw the trailer (twice) last night (it was in an episode I taped of House). It was worse than I remembered it. I just can't give them any money for the kind of movie this appears to be turning out to be -- even as an Eccleston fan.
Look what he says: "I think there are many, many departures from the book to the film. [...] The novel has been hugely Americanized in the film."
If you're really determined to go, I'd definitely recommend a cheap (Tuesday) showing, after the first weekend -- that will give a message in its own way.
