Forgotten Anger


Anger lurked at the edge of memory: in dreams, in unguarded moments. What had Gwen done to make him feel such fury?

It wasn't her long hours working, or the secrecy. Something else, something she had made him forget. What?

How?

It wasn't that she'd lied about Emma and wouldn't say why. It was something bigger than that. She'd somehow stopped him from remembering something important. A secret so big it dwarfed everything else.

Deep within him, tied to the memory he had lost, was deep and explosive anger. What had Gwen done to him, in the name of love?

Very nicely done - succinct, poignant, and just a little chilling. I always forget how much you can do with a drabble.

If you don't mind, I'm going to play with the concept of Rhys' memories following "Combat". Didn't want you to think I was swiping at your thunder or anything, but you got me thinking (me thinking is never a good sign), and now it won't leave me alone...
