The only thing I can suggest is that they might be in the 1995 book? It was available as an ebook until recently on the dr who website but has been taken down coz of possible spoilers, I guess
There's a local second-hand bookshop I was in the other day that has a great many old Doctor Who novels. I should have thought of looking for that one!
According to Outpost Gallifrey, they took it down, so no one unfamiliar with the story would read it before Family of Blood aired in the UK. The book is available, again, here (http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/news/cult/news/drwho/2007/12/02/45271.shtml).
Thanks for the link! I thought they'd taken it down because they didn't want the website to crash with the number of people going to it. I look forward to reading this now.
