Shoes...

It rained heavily for several days this week, and the shoes I wear to walk to work got soaked.

Now whenever I take a step, they make a chirping noise that sounds halfway between a budgie and a cricket.

This amuses me.

I think the shoe-chirp has just about dried up and stopped. Which is really too bad.

or maybe I've just become used to it and don't notice it any more.
