In the long term, I don't know. In the short-term, I just realized something: He wouldn't be lying entirely if Linderman were part of his memory-wipe. He might need Matt's telepathic info gathering as reminders of what he needs to remember, now. Or, he could have left a remind me later back-up plan in place with Hana.
