"The Waiting Years" consists of 6 individual, self-contained stories and is, in itself, a self-contained series that follows Jack from 1950 to 1970. "The Wandering Years" will be 9 individual self-contained stories that follow him from 1970-1990 and the final set (probably 7 self-contained stories) will cover 1990-present.
