My breakfast salads this week have not had onions. Until today. Today, onions.

Faugh. It was too good to last.

X-O

Weird.

Or, as Alice said, "Curiouser and curiouser!"

I don't see any pattern to it.... Most strange.

I saw your entry about your budgies. I'm so sorry!

Do you suppose there's still some Teflon lingering around?

I suppose the Teflon thing is theoretically possible. I wondered if they weren't eating properly, but I really don't know how it happened.

They're so tiny and fragile.

So soon, too...I'm sorry. :-(

You used to have such good luck with them, too. It's a shame.

Maybe another kind of pet, down the road?

Heh. Maybe. Hippopotamus? Something durable.

I was sorry to read about your budgies. It might be that the budgie you have had for some time has an infection that the young budgies couldn't cope with. If you ever consider more budgies I would suggest you keep them in a separate cage. Hugs

I am shocked and sorry to hear about Phoenix and Longshot, as are my parents. We were already loving hearing about their antics with the wheel & c.
Please accept our best love and sympathies. Poor little guys.

I can only repeat the above comment re: the Teflon, and also about the possibility of infection. Did your friends get them from the same place as Remy? There may be some detective work in order...

Poor wee darlings. A big, big hug.

Thank you! and to your parents too. I'm a little too zonked at the moment to send coherent messages - didn't sleep well last night - agree with your comments.

Much love and hugs. And love and cheeps to poor Logan. He must be finding this upsetting, too. We were so hoping you'd all be cosy for Christmas...
So warmest wishes to you and 'Mr Turquoise'!

Logan and I seem to be both back in good spirits today, more philosophical about the loss of the sweet little ones. Sleep helps! and Logan slept well, too. He doesn't know it yet, but I'm buying him extra millet for Christmas.

I didn't have the heart to make him wait so there's now pre-Christmas-eve millet in the cage. Cue happy chirping.

Aw, thanks for saying that. I've got over the initial shock. I will probably replace them. But... it was tough. I'm just so glad Logan is doing all right.
