Procrastinating on housework...

I can breathe. Well, sort of, as long as I have kleenex to hand. This must be the path of recovery, or something like it. I'm hurting less. The doctor said I had a 'flu-like virus'. Right. Viruses, the real enemy alien.

Before I got sick I invited a number of friends over for a Doctor Who video-party this evening. I decided not to cancel, gambling that I would be feeling enough better by today to cope. This may well be true.

But oh dear! I've spent almost a week lying on couches sipping chicken broth and drinking hot tea (mostly while watching Torchwood multiple times) and the place is an abject mess. I'll have to get moving and clean up... there's birdseed and feathers on the floor and dirty soup bowls in the sink.... I hate being sick!
