Blame this on [livejournal.com profile] kikibug13, who wrote two haiku today that I read when just in the right stage of boredom at work.

1
Pterodactyl flies
Caught in dimensions of time,
Just like Jack Harkness.

2
TARDIS survivor,
Gotta be ready for change.
Tomorrow, today.

Anything that mentions the ptery has to be good!

(I hope Logan is going to educate Remy in pterodactyl-appreciation while watching Torchwood!)

You know, that's pretty much how I feel about it!

I hope Logan is going to educate Remy in pterodactyl-appreciation while watching Torchwood!

I'll remind him to do so.

Well, it's always a thrill to have a new audience member to initiate into the joys of Torchwood. He may be a budgerigar, but he's still a member of a fannish household. (It's possible that some of the innuendo may go ever his head, however, since he is so very young!)

Yes, little Remy is too young for some of it, but Logan can cover his eyes as necessary.

My budgies really do have good fannish taste. They love the theme songs of my favourite shows, especially Torchwood and all the noisy bits. It's hard to tell how much they watch, but they certainly listen. And chirp enthusiastically, like applause - which is why I have to put them in the bedroom if I have guests watching TV with me, otherwise they drown out the dialogue. Perhaps it's a simultaneous translation into Budgie.

I'm sure he'll grow into it!
They do love TV: noise and excitement!

And then more noise, and more excitement! Dramatic music. TV might have been invented for little budgies.
