Nattering about yesterday...
Nov. 13th, 2006 01:27 pm...Which wasn't a bad day, considering that I woke up with a headache at 4 a.m. and it lasted for about 12 hours. Ugh. Now, what brought that on?
Went to brunch (dim sum) at the Mandarin Ogilvie - seven of us. A good time was had by all. I started out planning to only order one or two dishes, to keep my diet pristine, but gave up with all the delicious and tempting things going by - I was just careful to eat nothing with sugar or wheat in it. Squid, bok choy, asparagus, other greens... and tripe! O happy day. Tripe is one of my favourite foods and there are few restaurants who serve it. Usually I have to cook my own - if I can find it.

Date: 2006-11-14 01:28 am (UTC)I'm still not feeling my best today, despite two rounds of chicken soup and a spicy dish of chicken cacciatore at the lunch cafeteria. At that, I count myself lucky ... a co-worker had a few more difficulties than I did, to the point that I was thinking "bad news usually comes in threes -- right?"
