OTOH, give money and power to corporations or warlords, it's even worse. So easy to make anti-government jokes, but in a lot of cases, the alternatives are worse.

I'm not sure I'd trust anyone with money and power; not many warlords or corporations, that's for sure. They tend to take it anyway (by definition).
