The spoilers for Torchwood have me amused.

Heck, they have me tingling in anticipation.

Bring it on.

(And I see that this explains that nice terrifying little ficlet that [livejournal.com profile] boji wrote that I read today. Uh. Yes. Very Wolverinesque.)

Good rec - the rest of <lj user="boji"'s fic looks interesting too, so thanks for the pointer.

I really enjoyed her "Blogging On". Yes, I quite love [livejournal.com profile] boji's stories, and I hope she continues to write them. Most writers make Captain Jack a lightweight; she doesn't.

That was suppose to say "the rest of [livejournal.com profile] boji's fic appears to be worth a look too, so thanks!

I am quite thrilled to have found another good Doctor Who fan writer. Especially one who specializes in Captain Jack.

Yes, I keep meaning to go back to your fic recs post (which I shamefully neglected to acknowledge at the time!) and investigate your recs. I keep hoping that I'll discover a gem by following random links from [livejournal.com profile] who_daily, but the mediocre and the downright bad is all I seem to find...

I need to do another fic rec list - but that involves a tiny degree of self-organization that I don't seem to manage these days. Yes, I too have been looking at the links in [livejournal.com profile] who_daily with some disappointment, but hope springs eternal. I am quite tired of post-Doomsday fics, much as I loved "Doomsday". Or maybe because I loved "Doomsday" - I don't want to see the situation 'fixed'.

And I want to post my own stories very soon.... Like the soon-to-be-given-a-real-name Rose/Nine one you betaed. Do you have the time to beta another story? This one about Captain Jack? (Tho' I find I'm a little embarrassed to say up front who I've paired him with....)

I never even noticed the typos. And at the risk of sounding as if I'm into one-upmanship, I'm sure I can match you and top you in the matter of horrendous typos at any opportunity. In fact, yesterday, on some public community, I made mention of Captain Jack Harness. (And that was too funny to fix even if I could have.)

Did you decide against "Recalled to Life" as a title, then? And yes, I'd been wondering why you hadn't posted it yet. ::pokes you::

and this would be a good time to send me stuff to beta - I'm just home from the office and don't have to go back to work till Monday. Hurrah!

Okay, don't tell me who you've paired Jack with. Let me find out as I read the fic...

Typo oneupmanship? LOL.

And you obviously have an unexpressed desire to write Captain Jack bondage fic... ;)

I have a, um, hitherto unexpressed desire to write Captain Jack bondage fic. Really, it wouldn't take much encouragement at all. Or *any*.

Jack's knowing smile slipped as his hand slipped into his pocket and came out with - nothing. "Shit!" he said. "What's happened to my handcuffs?"

They dangled teasingly from the Doctor's index finger. "Which handcuffs, Jack? These?"

"Give 'em back!" Frowning, Jack advanced on the Doctor.

The handcuffs disappeared - into the pocket of the leather jacket? The trousers? Up the sleeve?

"Make me," said the Doctor.

No, I hvaen't decided against "Recalled to Life" - I just continue to dither! I like it but it's maybe too Dickensian. Still pondering.

::pokes you::

Thank you. Sometimes I really need poking.

You don't have to go back till Monday - oh, lucky! I wish I could send it to you now but it's at home and I'm at work. I'll send it to you this evening, all right?

One fic coming up, Capatain Jack and mystery person.
