I'm here on a computer training to learn how to set up web pages in Dreamweaver. We have been given a book called Macromedia Dreamweaver For Windows and MacIntosh by J. Tarin Towers, pretty straightforward. On page 83 there is a sample of a web page with a picture of a cat. The text reads, "My name is Pixel. I'm a cat. This is my page." There are several other places where Pixel's page is used as an example of how to set up the design.

Now, this Pixel doesn't look in the least like [livejournal.com profile] rosiespark's Pixel, but I almost laughed out loud in the middle of class, and I wondered if [livejournal.com profile] roseiespark knows Mr Towers.

Or maybe it's just her cat who knows him.

That's adorable! A computer cat!
I have my Word 'Office Assistant' set to Scribbles, the paper cat. It does all sorts of cute things while I'm typing!

Yes, I often use those - I usually switch back and forth between the cat and the dog. The paper clip is boring.

Or maybe it's a conspiracy...

Rain? My goodness. We're having a beautiful sunny day. You are having a bad Monday, aren't you?

Gesundheit.

Ever since I got an always-on internet connection, I've had my suspicions about what the cats get up to at night...

Hah! I think this is a clue. We're on to them now!

Yes, it's been raining all day here. The weekend was pretty dreary too. We really need rain though. It's been dry.

I had a great dinner with great friends. But now I'm back with my sore throat and the prospect of work tomorrow. Wah.

We had rain yesterday, pretty much all day. Not today. I wonder if this means it will rain tomorrow.

Take care, drink tea, think warm thoughts of Eden, and get some good sleep.

I'm trying. :( I'm very bad at getting good sleep when I work 9-5.

Oooh - how I would love to see those! They were advertised in the Stratford programme book. I was trying to find a way. So near and yet so far....

Though I don't like Word at all, I do like it that the program has a sense of humour and companionship. It tries, in its petlike way, to be helpful and friendly.

I want a transmat beam. Failing that, infinite riches would be okay.

Nope, doesn't seem like much to me. Really, all I want is to see a few plays - !

(Okay, I want other things too, but that's the desire currently under discussion.)
