A beta reader is someone who proofreads a person's fanfic and makes editorial-type comments like "this bit of the plot doesn't really make sense" or "you've got too many hands being mentioned in this sex scene, they only have two each" or "you misspelled 'resistance' here". (To name a random word I often misspell.) Online stories don't have editors so it's good to have friends correct the more egregious errors in a story before the public sees it and the author is embarrassed.

Tomorrow is plenty of time. I'll send it now. Just in case, I'll send it as both a WordPerfect document (which is how I wrote it) and as an .rtf document, which you can read in Word.

Thank you so much! I'll send it. Proofreading is the important thing, but I need to know if I got canon wrong too, or made any really stupid story mistakes.
