Ontario does something right

Oh what wonderful news! Same-sex marriages are now legal in Ontario. Two Canadian men actually legally married each other today. You can see the story in today's edition of The Ottawa Citizen.

Usually I gripe about this province: the spending cuts to public education and universities, or the tax on books and comic books, the generally conservative middle-class materialistic-commercial flavour of the government. But sometimes I'm damn proud.
