Not auditory hallucinations, I swear...
Jun. 10th, 2006 12:30 pmI was walking along Queen Elizabeth Drive by the canal on my way to my hairdresser's this morning about nine o'clock, thinking obsessively but happily about Doctor Who and wondering when I will be able to watch more episodes. Preferably before Wednesday, when Sandi has a video-party lined up. It was windy and cold this morning, about eight degrees. As I passed by a large apartment building I distinctly heard the Doctor Who theme.
It's unmistakable.
Now, the wind was fierce, and must have been carrying the music which much mean someone was watching the show somewhere in the neighbourhood. It was maybe ten seconds, then gone with a turn of the wind.
I'm sure it was real. It made me smile. It was like a tip of the hat from fate, saying "Let me tease you a little." Or maybe: "Beware what you obsess over, since you will get it."
