Comic book day...

I'll be leaving to pick up this week's comics in... eight minutes. Yay!

Three days till X-Men 3 opens. Doesn't mean I'll see it then. Just that... I could. Yay!

A beautiful sunny day. The word's dumbest contractors are rebuilding our front door for handicapped access. They have done this by blocking our front doors all day, which is okay as as far as I'm concerned!

This morning: the third day of my new working hours, starting at 8:30 a.m. I'm doing fine. Go my aerobics/weights program fitting in in before work, and yoga this morning - and still got to work on foot by 8:20. Okay, I'll probably fall asleep as soon as "Lost" ends.... We shall see. Let's hope I don't fall asleep before "Lost" ends. That would be demoralizing.

It's warm, it's sunny, and after the last week of cold rain's, it's like paradise.

Last night I finished reading Greg Rucka's fifth Atticus Kodiak novel, Critical Space. It has a great sequence where a lovely female assassin takes the hero in hand for an intensive four months of training on a Caribbean Island.... it's sort of like watching Batman teaching Robin. Tiring just to read about. But inspiring, too. Batman has always been my favourite fantasy-trainer to give me a mental push when I'm lagging on my work-outs. Now I'll have Alena in my head, too. (But hey, where's my nightly massage?)
