I don't usually see things I want on eBay. Heck, I don't usually even look at eBay. I know better than to court that kind of temptation when I have no money. But today... oh my goodness, I want this. It's selling for only $2,125.00 USD ... so far.

Though I suppose what I really want is one of those Spartan officer's helmets, like this one. They are so sexy.

I think that the first part of training of a Spartan officer (besides starving in the wild and killing other baby Spartans) included "how to be coordinated enough so you don't kill yourself with your own equipment".

I've never played Civilisation. I've always thought it sounded... difficult.

Maybe I'd like it.

It does make me want to read more Spartan stories, and guess what? By chance I have one out from the library just now.
