Tonight, at the recommendation of a Dunnett-fan friend, I watched Tokyo Godfathers.

What a quirky, interesting movie. A character-driven Christmas story about three homeless people who find an abandoned baby and try to keep it. Beautiful art; and I had fun second-guessing the plot with no success whatsoever. There were some nice tear-jerking moments, some delightful comedy, and a lovely sense of humanity among the wackiness.

Loved the end-credits, with a boppy version of Beethoven's Ode to Joy.
