Bend it Like Beckham

I just saw Bend It Like Beckham, which I've wanted to see for ages. Two good reasons to want to see it: Jonathan Rhys Myers and Keira Knightly. Both were terrific. In fact, everyone in it was good - I liked it thoroughly. Particularly liked Anupam Kher as Jess's father.

I'm not into sports, but as sports go, British football is one of my favourites. I can relate to having conflicting goals.

Jonathan Rhys Meyers is teh sex. I've liked him since I saw him in the BBC production of Gormenghast. Keira Knightley is fantastic as well.

Jonathan Rhys Myers is amazing. I fell in love with him in Velvet Goldmine, and never looked back. He's downright wonderful. And Keira Knightly is both talented and gorgeous.

Leah just bought this movie (you can probably guess why). We watched it once. It was pretty cute.

Well - JRM was certainly cute! I thought he was adorable in this, and it was such a treat so see him in a totally sympathetic role.
