Reading about King James I, I was impressed by how much poetry the man wrote - and other books as well. Given that he was a reigning monarch who like to spend a lot of time hunting, how did he ever find the time?

That got me wondering what other kings were poets. I mostly only know English monarchs who were: Richard I, Elizabeth I - I'd like to include Robert, Duke of Normandy, but he never got the crown. Am I right in remembering seeing poetry by the Emperor Federigo Secundo? Hmm....
